Those of you who are bilingual, what’s it like? In regard to internal monologue, do you alternate between languages or tend to stick with one?

When you’re typing out for this forum do you always think in English?

When you’re at home thinking “I need to do this” ect do you ever think this in your secondary language, as opposed to your mother tongue?

Thing is you can live the most healthy life and still end up dying in an accident.

True. But that’s future me’s problem.

The best thing to do is just live the life I’ve been blessed with and keep going as strongly as my easily distracted mind can muster. And if I die eh I’m still glad of the things I’ve done.

I’ve practiced learning French in the past (Always recommended here in Canada) and more recently got deep into learning Italian on Duolingo, but English will always be the language I was biologically programmed to speak first and foremost

I’ve been taught Spanish first from my mother before I learned English upon entering school which made it difficult at first for me to communicate since I always grew up with my mother owing to the fact that my father (who spoke both English and Spanish) was always at work for most of the day, whereas my mother only knows Spanish.

Is there any way to eradicate all French from the planet?
