I hate how religion makes their God(s) almost too human just so he can be relatable, like giving him anger, pride, flaws (they don’t say it and reject it, but I’m pretty sure the idea of flooding the entire world while letting there be the very few survivors is a flaw) and for some weird reason, has to send human convoys to do his bidding.
He’s God. He’s an all-powerful being who can manipulate the very essence of existence itself. He’s not suppose to be relatable.
Hell, there are so many ways he could’ve solved problems without needing it to end with a massacre and I’m pretty sure he knows this. And yet, some of them are “acts of God” and all that bullshit.
In fact, if God wanted to make Earth some psuedo-Heaven, he could’ve easily brainwashed everyone and make it heaven. But he didn’t. And you know why? We don’t know. Maybe he doesn’t want to or maybe he finds it a stupid idea. Whatever it is, it’s beyond human comprehension.
Why do we treat God like human just to be relatable?
