I suppose you're right. It's hard to tell as everything is like that now. But it was just better written in G4 to me. I don't know how to explain it. It was just handed better. Maybe for the simple fact that it wasn't shoved in my face in the very beginning. I was eased into it until they got to that episode. Whereas in the movie, it was like that from the word go.
