@EHAN
“Strong enough”, I would say is the most accurate answer.
Like, it’s established that humans in the OPM universe develop special abilities somehow, his special ability is simply being “strong enough to defeat any enemy in a single punch” (As he says before fighting crab-guy in the first episode).
Of course this means he’s literally invincible and any enemy that goes up against him doesn’t stand a chance, because whenever a stronger one comes along, he’s then strong enough to defeat them with a single punch.
In case I havn’t established this before in the thread: I fucking love one punch man. I gush from the opening theme song and visuals every time.

Eh. I don’t know about that. (I still think that he’s just strong beyond measure rather than that)

Literally beyond measure, lol, his power appeared infinite to boros.

Well, he did get his power by breaking his natural limiter.

I’d assume that’s how most/all heroes(and villains) achieve their abilities.

That’s the explanation given in-comic as to why Saitama is so powerful. He trained himself way past his natural limit which allowed him to break the natural limitations of his human body and achieve godlike power.

Ye, If saitama was a villain instead, he’d be a god-level threat.

I think he’d be above God…
Though there wouldn’t be much difference. He’d probably kill a few heroes before becoming the depressed slouch that he is nowdays.

Yeah, I was going to say he’d be above god level, but it seems like god level isnt something we’ve even seen yet(excluding saitama). I mean, Boros was supposedly god level with his planet-destroying blast that saitama easily punched back, but ONE says Boros wasn’t god level? that’s silly. but that means we may see even stronger villains in the future..

Threat level god is open-ended: anything that has the potential to destroy all human life is a god-level threat, whether it be something as small as a K-T type asteroid or something as catastrophic as the Big Crunch. So Saitama would be a god-level threat if he went mean.
The thing about Boros is that ONE said he was “above dragon”, which could still make him a god-level threat. From what I’ve read in the redrawn manga, Boros said that his Roar Cannon would only wipe the surface of the Earth clean, not destroy it (although in the anime he says it’ll destroy Earth, but that’s subservient to the manga anyway). I would like to think that scouring the surface of the Earth would kill all humans, though.

Ohh, here’s a question:
In the manga, do people recognise and call him “one punch man” yet? Or still just “Saitama”?
I’m fine with just calling him Saitama, he doesn’t need a special hero name.
