Pet peeve.

In any unfiction webseries ARG that somehow takes place in our current or last decade (somewhere in the 2016 to present), if in any casual interaction between peers, if I don't see or hear *ANY* memes or brainrot catchphrases...

I tune off.

Look. I understand that not everyone speaks brainrot. Neither do I. but if the conversation goes like:

"Hey *buddy,* we are going out for dinner later this evening. Are you coming with us?"
"Oh no I'm sorry I must finish this by tonight."

that's FINE. Matter fact it's *too* good. However in 2024 nobody understands anybody. So I expect:

"Bruh, we pulling up that fire place tonight. I hear the food bussin. You in?"
"*Excuse me?*"
"We having dinner later. Coming'?"
"OH. Oh no I'm sorry I must finish this by tonight."
"Type shii. Say less bro Imma let you cook."
"**WHAT?**"
"I understand, I'll let you work. See you tomorrow."
