I’ve found it usually means take a more realistic look at. Like how might one person being a chosen one affect the others around them, how might they feel about being the chosen one.

Its the fanfic we are currently doing for film night, We are going to do the latest chapter tomorrow but apparently the author said there will be 45 chapters but there are only 40 so far.
 
it is a starfox fanfic starring “fox” relix mccloud(a human oc) who is a racist asshole who wants to kill all Cornerians until he falls in love with one. But then it turns out he is a spy infiltrating Corneria as a high school student.

Holy fucking shit, you have no idea how bad this fucking fic is. This fic actually manages to become a train wreck after the fucking train crashed. He fucking sings coming undone by korn in one chapter. it was fucking hard to listen to it, and i feel bad for harle who had to actually read it. fucking.
