Not really. People in general already feel like major letdowns for one mistake that amounts to nothing, now imagine you spend the rest of your life in the equivalent of New Jersey with California weather because you didn’t gave that beggar your spare change that one time.
 
If anything this seems to go the route of the Good Place in terms of where you end up after dying

Interesting take calling it New Jersey with California weather. One of my friends just compared it to Los Angeles, LOL.

This depends on your definition of what makes a sinner and/or an evil person, but I don’t really consider Angel to be evil. He’s a porn star. Porn stars aren’t evil people. A little selfish, maybe. But aren’t we all a little bit? I don’t know, I just don’t consider being a perverted and lecherous porn star/hooker to be enough to qualify for Hell.

Angel isn’t in Hell because he’s a sexual deviant. Well, not entirely. He’s in Hell because he was part of the mafia and I assume also because of his drug addiction (and possibly sells drugs).

I suppose. I must have missed the part where they mentioned his connection to the mafia, though. Trying to think back and I’m not recalling, but whatevs. It would explain his use of machine guns.

Yeah, I also figured he had ties with the Mob as well, due to how little resistance he had in participating in a turf war that killed several people.
 
Well, going by the Bible canon, if you sin and don’t repent for it in life, you’re going to Hell. I don’t know how accurate this is, though, since from what we’ve seen, Hell is basically like Los Angeles. Everyone there is just the worst of the worst: Gangsters, crime lords, homophobes, racists, gamblers, etc. Except for Charlie, who is the purest cinnamon roll you will ever meet. (And possibly Niffty as well, though we haven’t seen much of her to understand what her sins are.)

Charlie was born in Hell, so she’s an exception.
 
Niffty though? I still have no idea. I wrote a headcanon that she was a spy during the Cold War and did several assassination missions. Her dress also has blood spots on it, indicating that she died by getting shot repeatedly.

Simply put, everything about it was so bold and refreshing, that for a second there I felt completely rejuvenated.

I think she might have been a reddit ‘Nice girl’ who killed her boyfriend at the smallest infraction.

I think Vaggie might have been some form of extremist or SJW. She was implied to be sexist in that one scene with Angel Dust, plus she died in 2014, so I think it’s a good guess. Whether or not that was joke, it’s kinda all we have to go on.
