Yeah I don’t really give a shit about “non-pony” cosplays. Exactly who are they harming? They’re restricted to their own “not pony related” group in the photoshoot, and they can’t win any position in the contest, so I don’t see why so many people are getting butthurt.
@Deserter
It was really stupid, yes. But the cosplay photoshoot at the 2013 con was really badly handled, so there was nobody to tell this “photobomber” to get the fuck out. The photoshoot at this year’s con was handled way better.
That’s incredibly stupid.
He received a lot of hate from non-cosplayers.
Funny thing is that the actual pony cosplayers and fur suiters came to his defense.
He was less annoying than one other “photobomber”, who wasn’t even wearing any kind of cosplay, yet kept standing in photoshoots anyways. Sometimes using BS reasons like “I’m a unique human, therefor I’m an OC”, or “I’m a villain to Hasbro”.
>he did cause a large amount of butthurt at the con because his costume wasn’t “pony” related.
Seriously? There were so, so many cosplays that were not pony related in any way. TF2 characters, Furries/fursuiters, other videogame characters, etc.
@Deserter
He wasn’t banned. He was only kicked out of the Fluffle Puff panel for dancing in the background.
But yes, he did cause a large amount of butthurt at the con because his costume wasn’t “pony” related.
He himself was actually promoting a positive message, saying that Transformers and Ponies are “Has-Bros” and are a family, that they should look out for each other.
I know someone was whining, but I don’t think the guy actually got banned…
