“EVERYTHING’S COMING UP ROSES!!!”
Exact quote from the show itself. Episode “Little Orphan Millie”…not the best episode (but again, IMO most episodes after season 14 have been weak) but that part was at least chuckle worthy.
yes, it happened, anon quote them exactly how they talked.
Did that actually happen on the Simpsons? (Haven’t watched it in years.)
@Joseph Raszagal
Yeah, in fact, most parents are different colored from their kids in the show. The exceptions we’ve seen who have similar coat colors in family (besides Pinkie’s Mom, and her sisters) are Rarity, Sweetie, and their Dad all being white-coated unicorns. (Their mother is pink though.)
And maybe the Cake Twins being similarly yellow colored to their Dad Mr. Carrot Cake.
Oddly, many assumed Dinky was Derpy’s daughter, just because of the similar coat/mane coloring, and didn’t let the fact she was a unicorn say otherwise. (This was before it was revealed ponies can have different pony races like unicorn, or pegasi for offspring, depending on the parents, and their ancestry.)
Nah, with the way her mane used to look, she’s definitely related.
That or adopted [/headcanon]
Cheezedoodle’s got a point, man. Coat and mane color aren’t the only factors. Outside of that, their manestyles and demeanor are identical.
If the show would have introduced him as brother, I’d have bought it.
Because all the rest of Pinkie’s family are pink?
Bart: Is it that you’re brother and sister? Because you really look a lot alike.
Kirk Van Houten: No.
Bart: Half-brother and half-sister?
Kirk Van Houten: No!
Bart: Siamese twins who’ve been surgically separated?
