Chrysalis: Get off of me, you weaklings!
Speaking logically, of course. I’d hate to make my dear queen uncomfortable. What point is there in giving her my love, if it would come to that?
But you would at least have the sense to back off a bit if you were bothering her, yes?
If I recall correctly, there is talk of eating (you get me) the CMC in the comic, but Queen Chrysalis is so annoyed by their antics, the very thought of any part of the CMC’s essence being associated with her own disgusts her. She specifies that she’d feed them to other changelings, but wouldn’t eat them herself. In other words, they’re not above being changeling food, they’re below being the Queen’s food.
Of course, that’s just how I thought of it (and remember it)– your mileage may vary!
PS - Chances are I’d be pissing her off in the same way, if I had a chance to express MY love for her as well XD
A lot of people sure do love my queen, it would seem XD
