I had assumed, that’s just the clichéd gag event that usually coincides with stuff like this. Still, a full extra month, they won’t be undersized if nothing else.
 
And that’s why people love your work, it actually looks like something in there rather than the goofy balloon edit stuff laying around.
 
I’ll take any more of this I can get, it’s a shame Penstroke is sensitive about Adult themes, but what can you do?

I use real life example of pregnant horses (photos).
 
Of course I tweak it here and there to make it compatible to MLP art style.  
I personally don’t like some of the ideas of MLP edited pics where they edit a perfect circle underneath for example Princess Celestia to make her look pregnant.  
Real pregnant mares rarely have a symmetrically shaped belly. It’s that Idea I try to apply to my drawings.  
Of course Nyx assuming this particular sitting position her belly looks circular.  
But if you would look her from the front you would see that the bulge on her flank where her identical twin fillies are located is slightly bigger than the flank where her colt is.
 
Also Nyx is opting for an unassisted home birth despite her inexperience.  
Several reasons so far.
 
For one her house being located in the Ponyville area there are no beds that are Amazonian size in the local Ponyville hosptal.  
The only hospital bed that can accommodate her huge frame is inside Caterlot castle reserved for Princess Celestia.
 
2. As a grade A Equestrian warrior Nyx likes to physically challenge herself.  
She managed to endure ridiculous amount of pain from the outside. She wants to see how she fares dealing with pain from the inside.
 
3. She tends to be private plus as a researcher and intellectual like her mom she wants to have exclusive access to this pregnancy documenting it as days pass by even after birth.  
Her foals are apparently of a whole new breed and it is very rare a researcher has the privilege to use oneself as a subject.  
No way she’s gonna share this research with others until the experiment is over.

Zeta Nyx is very formidable, even more so after being trained by Damian to finally control her huge reserve of mana energy after being stuck in another reality for 7 years (7 weeks in equestrian time).  
She’ll stay in foal till her 12th month (in this pic it shows her at 11 months and 1 week so 3 more weeks to go).  
Cross dimensional breeding between two ponies (actually two horses since Nyx is an Amazon by Equestrian standards) never occurred before so you’re practically talking about a whole new breed of Ponies in Equestria.  
Ever the intellectual like her mom Twilight she’s keeping record about her first hoof experience of this very unique pregnancy.
 
I personally don’t like to go too far with this story concept and for now I’ll keep it like this…  
I have other ideas that plays out before Nyx met Damian
