When push comes to shove, Rarity will get dirty, but she absolutely abhors it. She probably levitates her broom and dustpan by their handles as well.
Of course, at some point she presumably has to take the trash out. Spike can’t always do it for her.
You’d think it’d take more energy to hold it by the end, because you have a very short lever arm by which to keep it horizontal.
