My headcanon id that Fleur was a highly decorated Prench Foreign Legionnaire that received a honorable discharge and got a job as Fancypant’s bodyguard. Plus, she is madly in love with Applejack and Rarity, but she is hiding it from the other nobles.

In my headcanon, Fleaur is one of the most smart and brillant pony in Equestria, with I.Q. higher that Twilight, a lots of degrees and master, her special talent as languae, and also a big nerd and sci-fi fan.
