“Hot Topic is so awesome.
This been in the clearance bin for months it seem. But I was reminded today by an employee it was in fact a cigarette case, not for cards. Duh. So of course I buy this, as you can see, it conveniently and safely cradles my new/current pack of Newports.”

I know you enjoy getting cancer but try not to give it to me as well.
Rather die at an old age where I could still see and draw rather than be distracted/succumb to vices like smoking/cancer and excess drinking/liver and poor diet/heart disease and diabetes. Would like to think that when I do eventually pass, that would something worthwhile to be remember by, something I loved doing and had some impression on my friends and family.
Hell no, I fully expect to die at 60-something from heart disease of some kind due to living a rather sedentary lifestyle and having a poor diet (though not fast food or excessive, I just eat a very badly balanced diet, mostly carbs and meat) presuming science doesn’t get better at fixing it. I, however, also fully expect people to judge me for my decision to do so.
Just because we all have our vices doesn’t make them not vices.
So basically your aim is to live as long as possible without ever doing something solely because you want it?
Meh. I’d rather die from lung cancer with 60.
@M3E46
Not so fast! red whine is good at lowering cholesterol levels and the average person can drink two glasses per day without a real risk of liver damage.
I don’t see people who smoke as unethical people though, at least not when they don’t smoke in the presence of non smokers.
People who drink to excess, binge-eat and recklessly endanger their lives in extreme activities I judge just as strongly. The thing is, I don’t know a single goddamn person who just has a cigarette once or twice a month.
Same principle.
I dont think we’re taking about these people being evil. Just morons.
So? Alcohol is bad for the liver? Is everyone who drinks a horrible individual just because of that?
Eating fast food is bad for your heart, so everyone who goes to McDonalds regulary must be the devil incarnate?
All extreme sports have a high chance of killing you sooner or later. So everyone who is into these should be shunned?
Thanks for the good advice, but I never eat at McDonalds’. I like cooking my own food at home.
You’re giving yourself a heart attack. Stop eating at McDonald’s.
