They probably just get a set number of vectors to work with. These sets literally are only sold online and virtually everyone buying them are bronies who don’t usually care about the cover art.

My eyes kept going back to the derpy Pinkie vector. Also, there were other things in S3 other than Twilight becoming an alicorn. Just saying.

At least the gradient is a good color scheme.

I don’t mind the cover art…the annoying trailer for EqG 1 though was rough. At least it starts with pony parts and let’s you skip it.
