it looked like the changelings only really had like a few thousand expendables in their attack on canterlot, so I think that an attempt on that scale would dangerously decentralize the hive. not to mention that there could be more than one type of changeling. for all we know the changelings could be limited to assuming forms similar to their true form, I.E. the pony shaped changelings can only assume pony or pony-like forms, so there could be dragon changelings, griffon changelings, etc.

For some reason, I don’t think they’ll use the Changelings as a villain again in this season. Not sure why.

Meh, still hoping for the revenge of Lightning Dust and her team of Shadowbolts terrorizing the stadium Legend of Korra style.

I don’t know, I would prefer them to use the Breezy things as a source of food to fuel up after being defeated during the wedding. Have them show up being on a total love bender/steroid infused streak, and that would be the ending episode for the season.
 
Though I suspect the ending episodes will be pretty Princess Twilight unlocking the secret of the box and gaining her crown back + rainbow powers that she can give to her friends.

Wouldn’t put it pass them.
