A thought: Luna, being the guardian of dreams, sees everypony’s dreams, including her sister’s. I like to imagine Luna spying on Celestia’s dreams, and find Celestia dreaming of all the happy moments they’ve shared together. I imagine Luna being touched very much by this, and that helps bring them closer together. :)
