In “The End of Time” the High Council makes note of the fact that the (War) Doctor has The Moment, and one of them remarks that they should let him use it. He is instantly disintegrated by Rassilon.
 
This means that “The Day of the Doctor” happens around the events of “The End of Time.”
 
Also, it could be that the Time War itself was Time Locked by the Time Lords so that it wouldn’t erase the universe in the process of it being fought (this, of course, happened near the start of the war, before the high council decided to be bastards.

One flaw with that, because of the events in TDotD there is no time lock for them to be sent back into because The Doctor/s didn’t create it by using the moment ( the weapon with a conscience played by Billy piper) instead using the technology use in making time lord art to save gallifrey from the daleks by putting Gallifrey in “Suspend animation” affectedly removing galiifrey from the universe causing both dalek fleets blowing each other up but the rest of the universe it looked like the time lords and the daleks had blown each over up. all the doctor has to do now is find gaillfrey and undo the “Suspend animation”. basically because the doctor has changed time, the events Of the end of time can’t happen because there is no time lock from them to escape from.

Who bets someone will make a fanfic out of this?

The events on Gallifrey of TDotD take place directly after the events of The End of Time. The military commander mentions that the High Council’s plans had failed, which I believe means that Gallifrey was frozen by the Doctors after it was sent back into the Time Lock where the war was still taking place.
