Being an actual girl, I can tell you that the majority of girls were into sparkles. ’Course, there were a few that were different, but I remember most being into Barbies and prom and crap.
Nah, she was never really into that whole “goth” thing. If anything, she was really more like a hipster growing up, and this was before hipsters were really a “thing”.
Point is, we only think that girls only care about sparkly shit because nobody has bothered giving them other options, so we conclude that it must be the only thing they’d be interested.

Not necessarily. Growing up with my sister, I remember her only playing with dolls so that she could torture them. Her favorite pastimes were reading Harry Potter and writing poetry.

It’s amazing how easily Hasbro would be able to make the dolls movie-accurate, but no, it’s gotta look sparkly and dumb, because that’s the ONLY thing little girls care about.
