I don’t remember any of that. I was listening to tens of megabytes of MODs by Demoscene composers grabbed off FTP servers in the 1990s. Yeah. I was an early adopter of the Internet as a primary source of music back then. A mainstream listener, I was not. In fact, it was almost entirely unknown to me back then.

Nineties music can be divided into two mini eras. The first era was awesome with Seattle metal/alternative and California g-funk, but the second era with Nu-Metal and hip-hop trash about hoes and bling sucked whole galaxies of ass.

The Nintendo 64 was my nineties. I bet I’m one of the few here that has played the likes of the original Turok Trilogy.

for me 90’s were digimon and power rangers…and simpsons…and x-men…and 80’s fantsy movies.

Duck - Quacks like a duck, takes bait like a fish

I can honestly say that, though I like that decade because it was my childhood, I honestly think kids growing up in these subsequent decades have more interesting things to remember and much more quality in terms of movies and tv shows. Seriously think about it. There are kids that can form sentences now that will remember playing around on an ipad as a toddler. I tell ya, they’re gonna have some interesting formative years.

To be honest, the main things I miss from childhood aren’t pop-culture related. Just people who’ve died. Oh, and I still believed in God… and good ol’ Santa Claus. Oh well. Now I’m sad.

The joke is:
The 90’s didn’t have a “theme” as strong as the other X0’s

You know the acid 70’s the giant party that was the 20’s and hangover 30’s,
