Always. But im waiting for next Nightmare Night when Rainbow dresses up as Grey Cloud The Heralded - and gets pissed off because Twilight doesnt recognise the very first pegasi who broke the sound barrier!! (or whoever).

Eh, not so much about the history. More the magic part of it, since thats her talent an all.
 
Which actually makes me wonder whether or not Rainbow Dash has really obscure pegasi flying heroes memorised…
 
I mean, Rarity picked up knowledge of Pegasi racing just talking to her, so she must speak about it quite a lot…

Im pretty sure Trixie is the only other pony in all of Equestria who has even a slight chance of knowing who Star Swirl is.

Fun fact; there have been numerous Starswirls, comparatively few of them Unicorns, yet all gifted with exceptional magical prowess. However, there have never been records of Anypony being named ‘Starswirl’ actually being born since the fall of the Third Civilization.
