I don’t know. It’s a crapsaccharine world at best. Severe sanity slippages in the entire main cast, a every area surrounding Ponyville is crawling with beasts that want to enslave or eat the ponies, their world always seems to be threatened by something like ancient curses, evils, dictators, and the like, and a literal gate to hell is a day’s trot away from town. Given all of that a pony serial killer isn’t that hard to imagine, especially since they’re already canon anyways.
