She’s afraid of sharks. That’s why she’s trembling.
The only time that happened was in Dragonshy, and that was firmly established as a (justifiable) phobia. I can think of no other time when that even remotely applies.
Mmmm… no, I don’t agree. When a panicky person is afraid of something, freezes and can’t do the simplest thing. That’s our Fluttershy.
Startled, not afraid. Even factoring in the rule of funny, there’s a significant difference.
She was scared by her own shadow in the show.
It all depends on the context.
Shes able to over come her fears when it matters, but shes still terrified of everything. Something that is often exaggerated on the show for comedic affect.
Don’t be dense, Shy’s faced far worse than a stupid kiddy pool in the show. This artist does all the ponies out of character for extra d’awww/creepy points, depending on who’s looking.
