Thanks. It’s nice to actually get my ideas out in the open. I have such a slew of them, it’s hard to keep track.
And yeah, the moment I saw the fluffy ponies, I thought ‘Hey, don’t many animals get smaller on islands’ and ‘they are fluffy. This means they live in an arctic environment’.
The gnome perspective came from, well, they are the size of pony children.
I have a multitude of ideas floating in my head. (Like how the fluffy ponies are having conlicts with the goblins, due to them wanting to use the fluffy islands as trading ports, or assimilate them into their trading empire.)
That’s just one. I could go on and on about the world I came up with for the FIM/Resistance universe I made.
Oh I like your idea, not to far off from one I had back in the days of ponidooru, But mine also had a psychopathic fluffy that would randomly kill things, but both then the “abusefags” and “hugboxfags” started to bash me left and right over it.
Eh, let ‘em try.

(And come on. Fluffy ponies don’t deserve the ‘bad’ kind of attention they get. It’s messed up and feels like those people are chaos cultists.) DIE HERETICS!
Also I’m sticking with this idea. I’m going to include it into my own stories and there isn’t anything anyone can do about it. (Hey, I’m also making sentient kangaroos and making the Griffons polish.)

Careful with that idea, both the “abusefags” and “hugboxfags” will want to kill you for that.
They live on arctic islands, so they are much smaller and fluffier then their main land relatives.
Unicorns and pegasi fluffly ponies are generally useless in the magic and flying departments, hence why their horns and wings are so small. Though they don’t need them.
The fluffy ponies make up for this by being incredible engineers and master blacksmiths.
