I actually started reading gamefront during the whole ending fiasco, because they were the only ones who regularly weren’t calling gamers assholes for not liking the shitty ending.

When MLP can do a better synthesis ending than Mass Effect, you know that something is wrong _{(I even agreed in the comments that the vibe I got from Crystal Empire was one of ME3 synthesis ending)}

This would have been a better ending.
 
I remember a penny arcade comic that attempted to satirize people wanting a better ending by creating an insultingly happy ending where all the Reapers were turned into ice cream and the Krogan baked you a cake.
 
The thing is though, that would have been a better ending.
 
Mass Effect 3 was mediocre shooter with what could have been an excellent plot hamstrung by a few things that I really, really hated (the whole business with that stupid fucking kid, Vega, the goddamn shitty ending, Cerberus going from morally ambiguous to comically evil, every single thing about Kai Leng) that mostly just saddens me when I think about just how GOOD it could have been.
 
Oh, and I cried like a bitch when Mordin died, and also when Legion died. So fuck you people who say video games can’t engage on an emotional level.

Mass effect 3 had a TON of shit wrong with it.  
Still better than Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Mass effect 3 was great except for the ending. Aliens was just a total shitfest.

So I hear. Still not sure what is worse however. Aliens: Colonial Mariens or Mass Effect 3.

This is a better ending than the real one.
