I’ve been wondering the same thing for years. When she first appeared, she was portrayed as a serious, focused character with a poor sense of humor. After that, the writers did all they could to show that she’s a more complex character with normal emotions, but it’s like most only see her as a perpetually one-dimensional powder keg because she rarely smiles?

I know Limestone as rough around the edges, but does the fandom think she’s this violent and abrasive?
Did no one see the end of Hearth Breakers, where she made baked goods for her and the Apple family or her and Marble giving Pinkie advice regarding Mud Brief in The Maud Couple?
