I still have a bunch of my old cards, and I’m actually pretty certain I have the old and the new version. Even as a kid I thought censoring it was just silly. Maybe they thought it was an underage thing though, since it refers to her as a “girl” and a “chick” in the description instead of as an adult, which I guess is fair enough :P

The whole archetype is about holding the line until you hit an instant win condition, so I think effects that are more tricky and unpredictable would best serve that. It doesn’t have any major hitters, it just stalls and interrupts your opponent until you win :P

A very useless card, sad to say. But cute. I made the mistake of not emulating Yugioh’s distinctly angular art style though, which really took away from it. Next time I have a card featuring an actual Yugioh character, I definitely want it to far more closely match the way they looked in the anime. I did make a point of using the uncensored version of the card, because I actually have a copy of it somewhere. I think the very earliest-version of the card here was uncensored, and all the rest colored parts of her body so it looks like she’s wearing a body glove. Can’t have kids seeing a cartoon hip XD

Yet another interesting card for a deck. Almost makes me want to play more Forbidden Memories despite wanting to froth at the mouth from my numerous losses in the final gauntlet.

A friend of mine plays this game competitively, and he’s helped me with a lot of the card text and the like. This is the first one I’ve made that he’s said was actually pretty balanced and might even see competitive play since there’s a lot of cards it wouldn’t work with (since it only affects cards that target one monster specifically), but it’s also fairly universal and can affect spell, trap, and monster effects with impunity. So again, like Trixie, it’s not amazing at any one thing but just decent at a lot of little things and also… inconvenient >:D
