Rainbow Dash and Mullet share a goodnight kiss.

So I’ve been in a shipping mood lately, and I thought, “Why not these two again?”. I know people aren’t entirely onboard with this ship. I’m probably THE first person to ship them. Some find the idea a little strange compared to the more common ships for RD, but I argue that it works well considering her relationship with the pirate parrot crew in general. Why Mullet (yes, I know his name) specifically? Well, the two are seen briefly swinging together tarzan style during “It’s time to be awesome,” with Rainbow Dash gripped firmly in Mullet’s left arm. It’s a quick little moment, but it sparked inspiration and possibility for this ship. Rainbow loves action and adventure, and Mullet is literally a pirate with a sense of adventure; it’s perfect. And I will die on that hill.

Additionally, I really like seeing Dash be romanced, hence the Aladdin and Jasmine moment that these two share after Mullet drops her off at her cloud home.

That’s about it. A rare shipping, but a good one.
