Description

First full body drawing! Learned a lot while sketching and lining the shape. Still a long way to go, though.
Struggling a lot with proportions, so my ponies turn out to be way smaller, than canvas size and I have to crop it. Need more experience here.
Also, shading - way better than my two previous arts. I watched a lot of tutorials and did a lot practice so I expect to make an even more accurate shading in the future works.
Would really love to hear constructive criticism and feedback, by the way!

Detailed syntax guide

Background Pony #4C37
The line of the barrel/chest may need to be reworked a bit, it doesn’t look the same before and after the leg.
Try to make the thigh smaller and play around until you feel satisfied with your sketch. It’s hard, but trying to make the legs somewhat symmetrical (except if one forehoof is raised and such), can help them look better.
It depends on style, of course, but mares tend to have rounder and smaller muzzles than stallions.
Her right (from our perspective left) eye should be slightly smaller or horizontally compressed than the other, so the 3/4 perspective you are using can look more natural.
I would suggest trying to “copy” other models (at first) and study them a bit until you feel more confident about trying something else on your own. Your own style will come naturally on time because it will feel easier doing X this way, or Y tiny detail look good in there. The important part is to keep trying. If it feels hard, then you are learning.
This one in particular looks quite solid for a starter, with shading and complex mane, well done :)
(However, she a blank-flank!)
