“On the same stretch of land that Novo found the adorable kakapos, there lives truly massive birds that dwarf even hippogriffs! Despite their intimidating size, they are peaceful curious herbivores. Though they do have to be careful, as the land is also home to very powerful eagles with strong talons.
I like to think that animals that went extinct due to humans managed to still linger on in Equestria and its many lands. I mean, it would be pretty cool to see hippogriffs encounter moas, or ponies with thylacines.”
