I assume this is what you were referring to about her Nazism? I see the master race aspects. But there is nopony else of said race but her (Sunny’s off the table) to rule, benefit, or spread her ideology to. Nor is shown to plan/care for implementing the institutions required for a fascist government (an external threat/target to justify their tyranny , institutions for military control and indoctrination). I accept the arguments for Nazi but still thinks she’s a better fit for evil overlord.

Spike: Twilight’s reign was peaceful for many moons until Opaline Arcana appeared. She’d been banished from Skyros.

Any armaments against this as proof Opaline’s story, at least the parts that contradict the theory, as true given it’s corroborated by a trustworthy source? Yes Celestia claiming alicorns were never born in Equestria’s history is evidence Opaline’s lying, but G5 is so inconsistent with G4 lore and G4 vague on the details of alicorn origins (the author of the book stating they were born alicorns the show seemingly retconned said it could be them being born before/outside Equestria) that if there’s evidence it’s being retconned back…

And how is Opaline a Nazi?

Her worldview consists of something more than just alicorn supremacy. In Chapter 2 Episode 8 (Have You Seen This Dragon?) she stated pretty much enough about her worldview, to recognize her as a fascist with the primary focus on racism. There are many variations of fascism, and Nazism is the one that focuses the most on racial supremacy.

Opaline claims that she supposedly was an alicorn ever since foalhood, along with Celestia and Luna. In order to become an alicorn, a pony needs to achive something really significant, so it is highly unlikely tha three ponies, roughly the age of the Cutie Mark Crusaders were able to become alicorns. Not to mention the fact, that it’s safe to assume that Opaline was never born as an alicorn, since Celestia states that Flurry Heart was the first pony to be born as an alicorn in Equestria’s history.

A “theory” would attempt to argue/explain away canon evidence against it (offer proof Opaline’s lying about her backstory despite Spike’s account seemingly verifying the major details). This is “fan fiction” if arbitrarily ignoring canon evidence for the sake of the story they want, which I agree is better than what we got but is past the point of being a “fan theory”.

And how is Opaline a Nazi? There’s more to it than just being evil and/or racist (and I’m not sure Opaline’s actions are driver by seeing her race as superior as opposed to just herself). Sprout has shown what nazism in the series would look like, Opaline failed to do that or imply such would be her endgame.

Talking ’bout this theory.
If you have the courage, take a look at this and this. The only things Flurry Heart lacs in these comic strips are the toothbrush moustache and a sinister German accent. Giving the fact how Opaline is portrayed in Make Your Mark (a cruel Nazi bitch with the total absence of empathy), it becomes more and more disturbing, and the theory of Opaline being the corrupted Flurry Heart takes its rightful place among such things as Cupcakes and The Rainbow Factory.
