Also, there are people who have just heard of the film and are looking forward to it. If you don’t like it, make your own show. If you are judging it based on a minute of footage, then just watch the thing before you start making excuses.

More on the stupid naive side. Realy for me equestria girls could be a decent product, is just that: a) i really loathe that spike had been turned into a dog(albeit i got that is for magical girl familiar trope) and b) In all hhumanized picture befor EqG i always envisioned RD and AJ wearing pants. They look great in pants, it fit their personality, there is no reason they shouldn’t wear them.  
Apart form this is an ok thing. After all the story is the SAME as the first two episodes of FiM ( except it is at an high school, ther eis a prom dance, and the villain is not an ancient evil corrupted goddess, but a… stereotypical rich bitch?..ok the villaines is not that much, but hey we grown fond of Trixie and Silver spoon why not sunset shilimmer

I do admit, the skirts thing is kinda weird, but you gotta admit, at least Rainbow has shorts on underneath hers.

My only twouble witht eh “all skirts” style is that limit a lot the sort of posture available, not without giving lot of unwanted “fanservice” like we haven’t seen since Aika anime. We already got a screenshot of Twilight giving good view of her panties(by the way purple or light pink? I don’t get the right color) and sincerely don’t want anymore.  
Plus i think that AJ and RD would look way better with pants sincerely

And Dash still feels the need to have the high ground.

Fan artists have often shown better character designs than EqG’s artists themselves.
