There’s was/is a trend on Tumblr, all under the ‘MLP infection’ tag. Some fantastic horror art.

“au:my little toothache” is another great and creepy one that got spawned in that same wave. And there’s a hilarious one called Horse Infection by an artist named CandiCorn, but I don’t think that one’s been posted here on Derpi yet.
