Got a headcanon that Kirin very rarely get sick because viruses can’t handle their Kirin heat~
I’m not sure if this is anywhere possible…

JSTOR says, “when active, bats can maintain body temperatures of 40 °C (104 °F) or higher.” And you’re right, it doesn’t stop the poor cuties from getting all sorts of diseases and fungal infections.

Then they’re CARRIERS! You get in contact with any Kirin bodily liquid, and you’ll catch all of the germs they were holding onto but not being affected by!
The question is whether the extremophilic pathogens that can get them sick can survive for long outside of them.
Whoever comes closest, of course. All kirin love a good round of thermometer chicken.
But then how are you supposed to tell who won?
Perhaps some magical illnesses then has to do, considering Kirins are magical themselves.
Hopefully without making glass and mercury explode all over the room.
