Yeah. Sunny always dreamed to meet a unicorn, and Izzy received Sunny’s letter when she was a child. FiM had Mane 6 meeting as ‘intended by destiny’ too, but in different way, Twilight was refusing to get friends while Sunny and Izzy never have that sort of reaction to idea of friendship. Of course this was even more affected by troubled society Sunny and Izzy lived in, highlighting just how special their bond is.
