For some reason, that doesn’t make me teary in the same way it does for you. My guess is that, despite that, there has still been plenty of new artwork released since FiM’s conclusion. Many artists leave, and that’s fine-they should be free to do what they want. However, many have stuck around, and we even got some new artists in the community as well.
Frankly, the fact that the fandom has, for the most part, stuck around so long after the end of FiM really shows how strong it is, if you think of it.

Speaking of nostalgia, I miss those wonderful artists/buddies who decided to move on from the fandom.
That what makes me really teary but I know they’re doing well and awesome. :’)
What a long ride this has been and to be honest about the movie; it kinda had me nervous at first because of all the glitter spamming. XD

True, but I didn’t watch it when it first came out.
It should always be noted that the FiM TV series ran for almost a full decade, with 9 seasons. That’s a pretty long run for any TV series, save for adult animated sitcoms or maybe Spongebob.
Still, I remember bronies absolutely hating the MLP Movie when it was first released, for various reasons. Maybe nostalgia will help it in some ways?
