THIS WEEK’S GONNA BE HELL FOR ME!
The Cybermen are awesome in this one. They’re finally back to being a great threat!
But we do have miniseries that is closer to UK series, the difference is that in a miniseries(numbering anywhere under 13 episodes) the story in only the that one group, if story continues beyond that it then becomes season one no matter the number of episodes.
Nope, in fact a few rare times one season has had one half shown several months apart for the other half, more then a actual season worth of time.
huh. Well that’s odd, my understanding was that american TV seasons were so called because they ran for so long that covered actual seasons in time.
Actually some seasons of shows in the US do run under 12 episode, so it is the same.
Fans of Doctor Who, which number in the millions right now.
There is a fundamental difference.
A season is usually about 13-26 episodes long
A series is 6-12 episodes long.
The BBC hasn’t got the same sort of funding ABC and the other American TV companies have.
Also Dr Who has always been bad for spoilers; Davros was revealed weeks before his appearance.
Technically. What’s called a season in the US is called a series on Tea and Crumpet Island.
In the UK series = season.
