I think they need all 4 new characters out first. They are most likely going to be bosses thoughout chapter 2, so they need all of them to be revealed before continuing with the story proper.

I have a strong feeling whenever chapters 2 comes out, Nidra is somehow going to be Velvet’s guide. Idk she being the “guide” of the Dream World, the fact we never heard anything dream related in game nor in the Book of Lore before (correct me if wrong) so she clearly will be important for the story and the fact last time we saw Velvet she was knocked out, so it’d make sense for her to be dreaming.
Maybe Nidra will lift up her spirits and inspire her to change her ways? Instead of fighting every other champion she finds trying to work together? I’m too hyped to stop theorizing >w<
