Description
Opaline and Mistry silently trotted in tense silence down one of the many hallways of the Alicorn’s castle. Misty paused as she felt somepony was watching her, she hesitantly looked up to the last known portrait of Twilight Sparkle. Whose dark purple eyes stared down at her.
“Ah, Opaline? I- I think the portrait is…staring at me?”
Opaline growled and didn’t bother to look behind her as she replied.
“Grow up, Misty. That awful Alicorn is long gone, along with the rest of them.”
Misty looked to Opaline with a hint of shame before doing a sharp double take back to the painting as she could have sworn she saw the old Alicorn give her a smirk and a wink. She stared at the painting for a few minutes more, watching the dark purple eyes that stared ahead before the unicorn moved on. Hoping she was seeing things.
