Estuans interius ira vehementi! Estuans interius ira vehementi!
Also, she’s clearly not evolved into Rapidash in this image.
Why do I know what a Seraph is!?
Whoa. What the f(yay)cking f(yay)ck.
Chill out. It’s science, not calling your mother bad names.
In answer to your question, the measurements we have made to date all seem to suggest that the universe is flat and, if it is bounded, is bounded very far away from the observable border; and finally, flat bounded shapes in three dimensions which fit the local measurements of curvature are few in number, and some of them, such as horn shapes, are exceedingly improbable by any definition of probable.
Simplicity often turns out to be the best and most likely result of cosmological investigations. In this case, the simplest shape would be one with no holes, unusual curvatures, et cetera: a simply connected space.
I do not propose that we are certain about this. In my post I did say “probably.” But it is, in fact, probable.
How do you know that?! Did you just pull that COMPLETELY out of your ass or WHAT?
We don’t know enough about the structure, shape or nature of this Universe to make broad sweeping statements about it. How do you KNOW there’s nothing “outside” it? Heard of concepts like the multiverse, or the idea that Universes spawn within other Universes via black holes that keep expanding forever?
Hell, even SPECULATION on these things is POINTLESS because we don’t have enough evidence to say anything worthwhile EITHER WAY!
Stop making statements based upon your own headcanon and applying them to reality via bald assertions!
What?
Well, if you consider that our Universe is actually contained in a larger void of emptiness… Then you could say that the Big Bang, which originated it, didn’t do much but expand the Universe from a very small core to a larger, amorphous blob of galaxies, but still small considering the greater void.
