Hard disagree, been watching FIM since 2011 and Pipp is one of the reasons I enjoy G5.

Uhhh, I’m pretty sure there are plenty of other reasons why G5 may not be doing as well as G4 did–like, I don’t know, the fact that Frienship is Magic in its prime was a lightning in a bottle phenomenon that couldn’t even keep its own momentum??
I have barely seen anyone complain that G5 focuses too much on Pipp. I’ve seen them complain for a lot of G5-related things, but Pipp getting more focus is not one of them. In fact, I’ve seen a lot of bronies like Pipp more after she was given more focus, some even have her as a favorite character.

And Zipp is focused on just fine, dude. A lot of people say she’s the real protagonist in Make Your Mark. She’s the only character who’s allowed to care about the main plot and try and figure things out, even when others should probably care too.

Yeah, though I do wish she didn’t overshadow some of the other main characters, I do really like how much effort has been put into writing, especially compared to the movie where she was robbed from having a character arc 💀

And it makes sense that she’s so marketable. She’s a modern, girly popstar princess who does makeovers, who’s pink and cute and fluffy and looks like a plushie. She has SO much wish fulfillment for little girls. She’s one of the most marketable characters I’ve ever seen for a franchise for little girls. I’m honestly surprised they didn’t give her more protagonism from the jump, and treated her like an after thought in the movie.

I do agree that tell your tale is Pipps able, though I am kind of happy because she’s my favorite too. She gets a lot of episodes and her personality is very animated.

And she’s doing well in the marketing department. She’s the front of tell your tale’s soundtrack, she has a bedtime story thing, a podcast, most of the songs are sung by her, etc.

At this point, Pipp is basically the real protagonist of Tell Your Tale.
I don’t mind too much, I think she’s the best character in the show, but I do feel bad for the other characters that don’t get as much time to shine.

Hasbro cheated. They used Pipp twice after her last ep. aired 2 weeks ago in ‘A day in the life’.

Hopefully, they’ll make up for it and give Zipp double eps. later next week. They own Zipp that at least.
