I like that idea of Opaline being cruel to her. Not because I want so see anything suffer but rather because I like to see that dynamic to be shattered eventually and freeing the cute unicorn.

Corrupt world leaders tend to keep their denizens hungry as to keep them desperate and control them. I don’t think I would put this past Opaline, especially as Misty’s main motivation is her desperation for a cutie mark
