I’m gonna be visiting my fiance in one week. It will take up to 40 hours of trip. I’m nervous but I’ll do anything to see love of my life <3

I originally didn’t choose flights with long layovers but the airlines had some problems and they had to change the schedule.
It’d be 2 months. Might as well stay long cuz it’s hell to get there lol.
And how long are you staying there?
Yeesh, what’s with the long layovers? It’s like you arrive when the airport is asleep and have to wait for everyone to wake up.
I like the moderator’s wit well.
Thank you ^^
Unfortunately I only got my phone. I’m bringing laptop too but I don’t think I can use it often since my backpack is very cramped and it’s very difficult to get it in and out. I hope I can just sleep a lot to pass the time XPP
Wow, that is certainly very long! what are you going to do to keep occupied? Got any good books or movies? Or do you use that time like I do for studying?(lol)
Here’s the rough schedule
It was booked by my PA, with only 2 hours of warning, so I was lucky to even get where I needed to be.

Oh I’ve done the 20~30 hour flight before. JFK/LAX to NRT/HKG/SIN is a time machine. I’ll pass on the rum though, wine please.
It’s me.
I’m the pone.
The pone of wisdom.”
I was just joking dude.
You make me scared XDDD
Autopilots are a thing.

Had a 36 hour flight from Heathrow LHR to Narita NRT via MPS and SEA once. With 3 plane transfers. Coach. Felt like dying. Thankfully on the last leg, KLM basically fitted each passenger with a intravenous drip that they kept filled with strong alcohol. Like, if you asked for coke and rum, they gave you six of the little bottles of rum and a bottle of coke, and then kept dropping more bottles of rum in your lap every time they walked by.
Cross continent with unfriendly interconnecting flights, and likely train/bus to first airport and train/bus from last airport to final destination (not everyone lives near airports with frequent international flights).
Going to Mars, I guess.
