Derpy as a mailmare pretty unequivocally shows these can’t be taken as show canon, though.
It’s Sweetcream Scoops. She’s not new. She’s existed since 2010, on the first wave of blind bags.
And recolors should not be surprising by now, really.
And yet, “pandering” in the show is fine with you? I swear, I’m so sick of whiners whining about “pandering” ever sense the “Double Rainboom” fan-drama. It’s getting annoying, and old.
Oh God, are we going to have people complain EVERY time we have a fan-favorite character cameo, or any kinda reference in the comic/show from now on?
I am so sick of the term “pandering” at this point.
Ironically, the people bitching that the “Magic Duel” episode was “pandering” to “Trixie fans,” don’t realize that episode was written way back when the first season was still airing, (and was originally intended to be a Season 2 episode) before Trixie became that popular, and before the “brony” fanbase took off.
@MadVillan
People who take offense at things offend me.
Also, this comic has an older, narrower target demographic than the show. Why shouldn’t there be fan-pandering?
Nicely put. Your clarity and level-headed ness offends me.
@martianmister
This comic is specifically targeting the fanbase. This is the entire point of the comics. This is where all the pandering /should/ be.
@martianmister
Silence!
