“The sunset has come again
Just a very old drawing from the times I practiced in various styles and tried a lot of new techniques.
And drew ponies… I miss drawing ponies. I love them very much.

Every sunset made Celestia’s heart ache, like the very first time she met it without her sister.
But her little ponies… No. Not her anymore. She failed them and failed her sister as well. She did right by fleeing the castle and hiding away. But still… Little ponies still needed the day and night cycle going. And she didn’t want the unicorn mages to age too quickly by making it for her.
And so, she lowered the Sun.
“Good night” — she wispered to the wind.
But her little ponies… No. Not her anymore. She failed them and failed her sister as well. She did right by fleeing the castle and hiding away. But still… Little ponies still needed the day and night cycle going. And she didn’t want the unicorn mages to age too quickly by making it for her.
And so, she lowered the Sun.
