“The image of IronYoshi seeing Queen Novo at an aquarium was probably one of my favorite images I made. There was just something about it that I really liked. However, upon further inspection, it did have a lot of issues, such as the wonky windows and Novo’s neck being way too long.
So I figured if I wanted to try and redraw one of my older images, this one would be it. I think it looks a lot better this time, the characters (well, Novo at least) are better proportioned, the windows look much better, and it still retains some of the charm of the original. Maybe in another couple years I’ll revisit this one again and re-redraw it.”
