Alright let’s see if I can describe these two.
So the big guy is Bamboozle, ‘Bambi’, I created him as a random ass DiscoPie kid in a previous pic. As a result, he feels he has no real purpose or reason to exist, so he brought his concerns to his best friend Trouble Shoot. Trouble Shoot, having been created for this very picture, understands Bambi’s fears but doesn’t share them. Trouble Shoot feels that one gives their own life meaning, and that itself is the meaning of life.
Then again Trouble Shoot WAS snagged by a spinning lathe leaving him brain damaged and horrendously injured, so he may be a little delusional.
