Nicely said. Out of all accusations G5 had, this is its root problem to me. They were just too afraid to suggest any new stand-alone idea, ‘cause it could be much less sellable as previous one. And for me that’s what negates almost anything good it has, it just fells like a parasite, glittery, sparkly and hollow.
Are you kidding me? Do you think a reboot is a great idea? A Reboot is literally like taking an idea that already exists and telling it again. Yes, you can tell it differently but the idea wasn’t yours to begin with. You just took it and retold its story in another way.
