I don’t think these weird plushes were produced. I found Scootaloo and Pinkie Pie’s descriptions were odd? And it was weird that Pinkie is colored like her g4 self. And Scootaloo is all red, why?
Maybe they described nationality simply because MLP is American? Like, it’s not unusual to me to hear characters described as being close to their audience, locally first. And My Little Pony, though mostly subtle, might be a reflection of its country. Perhaps with some pride to it.

Very weird. Maybe these prototypes were rejected because they didn’t have a consistent style and the fact that Pinkie looked like a different character
And Pinkie Pie is right next to her. I guess they’re Pinkie and the Brain.
