If you wanna make the egghead squirm even more, you should have a villain mistreating a book right in front of her. I’m talking dog-earred pages, rips and tears, laying them down open faced, using them as coasters or to level out tables, etc.
To her, it’ll be like watching a horror movie play out before her eyes that she’s unable to turn off.
